C impressed again at the fourth World Indoor Throwing competition in Växjö, Sweden, on Saturday (12).

Kanter, Estonia's reigning Olympic champion in the Discus Throw, won the event with a 66.34m throw in a series in which each of his five throws flew beyond 66 metres. Opening at 66.34m, Kanter followed up with a 66.16m throw, then fouled on his third. He followed up with a 65.58m toss before his winner in round five, then closed with a 66.47m toss.

Two years ago, set an unoffical world indoor best with a 69.51m throw in Växjö and won again last year with a 66.95m best.

Australian Benn Harradine was the runner-up at 65.60. Dutchman Eric Cadee was third reaching 62.42m.

Opening with a youth program, the competition continued with the men's Shot Put, won by Kim Christensen with a 20.39m effort.
